2. Professional Information
Alison is a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and Maternal and Child Health Nurse with extensive experience supporting families.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, services provided through Alongside Alison are educational and supportive in nature.
They are not intended to replace:
- medical care
- emergency healthcare
- diagnosis or treatment by your GP
- paediatric care
- specialist medical advice
- mental health treatment
Always seek advice from your doctor or healthcare provider regarding concerns about your health or your child's health.
If you believe you or your child require urgent medical attention, call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book services or purchase products through this website.
By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Bookings
Appointments are confirmed once payment (where required) has been received.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments where circumstances outside our control arise.
If we need to cancel your appointment, you will be offered:
- an alternative appointment, or
- a full refund.
5. Client Responsibilities
To help us provide appropriate guidance, you agree to:
- provide accurate information about yourself and your child
- advise us of any significant medical conditions
- inform us of any changes relevant to your consultation
- follow up with your healthcare provider where appropriate.
6. No Guarantee
Every child and every family is unique.
While we provide evidence-informed recommendations, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to:
- infant sleep
- breastfeeding success
- feeding outcomes
- developmental milestones
- behaviour changes
- parenting confidence.
Outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.
